Smoothie Bowls!

All the new breakfast rage are Smoothie Bowls! Try these at your Kids Eat Smart Club sometime soon – we are sure the kids will love them.  They are a spin on smoothies and yogurt parfaits all mixed in the one.  Take all your favorite ingredients blend together as a smoothie, pour in a bowl and add your favorite healthy toppings. The kids are sure to love it as much as they love smoothies and yogurt parfaits!  As always, serving healthy foods in a fun and different way helps kids get excited about healthy eating!

Blueberry Coconut Milk Smoothie Bowl


  • 2 cup – blueberries, frozen
  • 2 medium – banana
  • 1 cup – yogurt, plain, low-fat
  • 1 cup – coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 1 tablespoon – honey
  • 2 cup – spinach
  1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into serving bowls. Top with additional sliced bananas and blueberries, if desired.
