It is through the generosity of our donors that we provide financial support for our Kids Eat Smart Clubs, helping to ensure our school age children and youth learn, grow and be their very best.

With your support we will ensure that school age children and youth throughout Newfoundland and Labrador have access to food at school, at no cost to families.  Every $1 raised is breakfast for a child.

The result – school age children and youth who grow and learn to their full potential creating opportunities for a stronger, brighter future.

Monthly Giving

Our Kids Eat Smart breakfast clubs depend on the kindness of people who keep cupboards stocked and our children’s bellies full. All children deserve to reach their full potential and your monthly donation will help us give children a healthy start to their day so they can learn and be their very best.

Donate Monthly

Your Monthly Gift of Nutrition in the amount of:

  • $10 will give a child breakfast for six months!
  • $16 will give a child breakfast for an entire school year!
  • $20 will give two children breakfast for six months!
  • $25 will give 15 children breakfast for a month!
  • $50 will give 30 children breakfast for a month!
  • $100 will give 6 children breakfast for an entire school year!

Tribute Giving

An “In Honour Gift” to Kids Eat Smart Foundation is the perfect way to recognize a special occasion for the person who has everything. Perhaps it’s a birthday, retirement, wedding, a new baby, or a holiday gift – they’ll feel great to be supporting breakfast clubs that help nourish children’s education. We will send a lovely card recognizing the special occasion of your friend or loved one on your behalf. You will receive a tax receipt for the total amount of your gift.

Your gift to the Kids Eat Smart Foundation is also a fitting tribute in memory of a loving family member or friend. Upon your request we will send the bereaved family a letter acknowledging your thoughtful and heartfelt gift.

Through your planned gift to Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador, it’s possible to make a contribution that will affect our school children and youth well into the future.

There are many ways you can make a Legacy Gift:

  • Gift of Securities: A gift through publicly traded stocks, bonds or mutual funds.
  • Bequest: A Gift in your Will.
  • Life Insurance: A gift through a Life Insurance Policy.
  • RRSP-RRIF: Designate Kids Eat Smart Foundation NL as the beneficiary of your RRSP or RRIF.
  • Gift in Kind: A gift of property

Become a Kids Eat Smart Partner

Every year Kids Eat Smart Foundation serves over 6.3 million meals to school age children province wide. With an average meal costing $1, we could not do this without the support of our dedicated and generous partners.

Partners are corporations, community organizations, and individuals who make an annual contribution to Kids Eat Smart Foundation. We have a range of partner recognition categories within our Stewardship to Our Donors to ensure we appropriately recognize every gift we receive.
