Veggie Dippers
We always encourage our KES Club volunteers to serve veggies for breakfast as it allows for more servings of Veggies per day from Canada’s Food Guide. Sometimes kids are willing to try new foods if their friends are eating them at school. Even serving veggies in a fun cup with dip on the bottom may encourage kids to try veggies they never tried before. I’ve seen these veggie cups in action at our KES Clubs and kids love them! Try these easy to grab veggie dippers at your KES Club this week:
Veggie Dippers
Ingredients
- Carrot Sticks
- Pepper Sticks
- Cucumber Sticks
- Celery Sticks
- Ranch Dip
Directions
Cut veggies into sticks. Pour small amount of dressing in bottom of cup. Place veggies in cup and serve. Serve up some veggies in cup without dressing as some kids may prefer no dressing.
