Supporting Your Local Breakfast Clubs

Kids Eat Smart Breakfast Clubs are knit within the fabric of our schools throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.  Currently, within 94 per cent of our province’s schools, from Labrador to Twillingate, Port aux Basques to St. John’s, and everywhere in between, children start their school day with access to food, at no cost to families.

At Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador, our vision is that every child in Newfoundland and Labrador attends school well-nourished and ready to learn. It is with the continued support of our generous partners, donors, school communities and dedicated volunteers that, together, we ensure that every school age child and youth have access to the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and to be their very best.

Kids Eat Smart Foundation supports the 267 active Kids Eat Smart Clubs throughout the province by providing funding for food and equipment as well as program support, educational, volunteer recruitment, outreach, fundraising and menu planning support.

There are many ways that you can support your local breakfast club in the city or town where you live, work and play:

Donate online and designate your donation to your specific school.

In-Kind Donations: Donate Food Items directly to your school’s KES Club (following approved KES Grocery List – please contact your school)

Host a fundraising event in your community or workplace and designate the funds raised to your schools KES Club.
