Kids Eat Smart’s Apple Awards are a recognition program developed and supported by the Foundation. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding contributions on behalf of an organization or individual volunteer at the Club level, who give their time or resouces to support the club. These awards are given by individual Kids Eat Smart Clubs, not by Kids Eat Smart Foundation directly.

Community involvement is imperative to the success of Kids Eat Smart Clubs through corporate donations, in-kind donations and volunteerism. Apple Awards are a nice way to recognize contributors and let them know they too make a difference.

Guidelines for giving Apple Awards:

• Recipients must give back to the community club through resources or volunteering their time
• An organization/individual can only receive the award once per calendar year
• Awards are given at the club level, not by the foundation
• Awards will be granted when club members deem recognition is appropriate
